Chip Surge Protection Devices (CSPD)

In the development of its new high-tech suppressor products, the CSPDs (Chip Surge Protection Devices), SFI utilizes its highly professional multilayer technology to create higher current products in a small form factor that are designed for significantly higher currents than previous products.
One of the major advantages is that the CSPDs can withstand more overvoltage events without hanging the characteristics considerably.
In most applications our parts can replace smaller Gas Discharge Tubes, varistors, TVS- and Zener diodes. Therefore the CSPDs are the best solution for designs using “old fashioned” circuit & overvoltage protection components.
