WORLD NOVELTY − Pseudo SRAM with ×8 Organization


ESMT launches a new special low power pseudo SRAMs. These so-called CE-SRAMs (cost-effective) are usable for 8-bit connection for the first time.
The products are fully asynchronous SRAM compatible and available with capacities of 2 Mb (256K×8) and 4 MB (512K×8). So they can substitute the traditional SRAMs for very cost-effective alternative solution.

The temperature range of -40°C ... +85°C and the access time of 55 ns meet the standard parameters of SRAMs. The standby current is specified with 9 μA / 17 μA typ. Standard package is 36-VFBGA; 32-TSOP2 on request at bigger order quantities.

ESMT can also produce 1Mb (128K×8) or 1Mb (64K×16) also in SOP, TSOP, BGA packages on request. Each possibility has to be discussed with ESMT first and it is depend on the production volume.

Based on the 1 transistor + 1 capacitor technology, ESMT‘s pSRAMs feature high performance and the customers have here a possibility to replace traditional SRAM‘s or/and can reduce the material cost, because pSRAM has a much better price level by same functionality.
