Dear Friends,

Thank you, I´m fine! If I have been silent for one month, there is only one reason, that the economical situation in the EU countries was not clear enough. Also my new company kept me very busy, because more and more people understand that they can save a lot of electricity and costs if they are using LED driven bulbs and tubes.

But now to some other interesting items. This year, which is nearly finished, gave us unbelievable political changes around the Mediterranean Sea. The dictators of Egypt, Libya and Tunisia had to move away, also the dictator in Yemen may loose his job pretty soon, in Syria are terrible fights with citizens of this country, which could also may cause the collapse of the actual government and just now we heard, that there are tremendous protests in Russia, because the people believe, that the elections had not been correct. We had the earthquake in Japan, and the Tsunami, atomic power plants exploded and our German Government changed its Energy policy. The world has changed completely within one year and it is not possible, to give forecasts for the next months.

Very encouraging news are coming from Brussels, where the Euro Countries had decided to work on a limitation of their debts. This might be definitely not already the end of the crisis, but their are the first steps in the right direction, because the members of the EU will now be forced to bring their financial matters into a good shape. If we have lost a country on this way, I mean Great Britain, then it is very regrettable, but let me give you a question: Who needs whom more, Great Britain the EU Countries or ????

Can you imagine, what would happen, if we would not have the Euro as a currency? But each country its own currency and we had to change the money, when we go from one country into another one? All exports would be on a unstable exchange rate basis. The trade and the tourism are based on the Euro and therefore it is only a speculation, that we will loose pretty soon the Euro and that each country will have its own currency. In the euphoria of the foundation of the common market the founders may have forgotten, that we have still independent societies and countries and that there are in the different countries politicians, who like to buy votes with tax money. Inspite of all forecasts about the future economic crisis and a terrible inflation which will happen pretty soon, I must say, that the reaction in the different countries is more or less calm. Even that in some countries is a high percentage of unemployment and new additional taxes. The boom which we had in the last years has dropped down in direction of a small but continues growth.

If we look on our company, I have to be satisfied with our order stock. Our company has been honoured by a German magazine for our “excellency in competence and support” at passive components which is because of the big competition a very good award.

Furthermore we could win in this year some important manufacturers of High Technologies in the area of radar and high frequency technique, driver components for LED, switching regulators for DC/DC converters, high power LEDs and some more other important components. Our portfolio is increasing from year to year to the advantage of our customers.

This award is an obligation for our company also to improve in the next year as much as possible for the benefit of our customers.
