The 32.768kHz watch crystal is one of the most popular crystal units sold worldwide today. This crystal, in its varied packages, is manufactured by the millions and yet remains one of the least understood of the commercial crystal units.

Economical SMD of clock quartz (tuning fork) with 32.768 kHz offered SMI by (Representative Endrich GmbH) in differently housings and designs. Standard Tolerance is +-10ppm,+-20ppm or +-30ppm). Tolerances down to +-5ppm (at 25°C) is available on request. The standard load capacity is 12,5 pF. In addition we also fulfil on customer's requests different values.

The 155M327 is a low cost SMT solution. The special packing 2x6 mm crystal in a ceramic enclosure offers a cost effective solution and preferable unit for SMT assembly. The parts are supplied in tape and reel for easy pick and place mounting, with packing quantity of 3000 pcs.


SMALLEST SMD Clock Crystal

An external 32.768 kHz clock is an essential part of a lot of systems. Besides driving the real-time clock, the 32.768 kHz clock is widely used by various processor and peripheral subsystems. Without the 32.768 kHz clock, the real-time clock, the watchdog timer, the periodic interrupt, and asynchronous remote bootstrap will not function in many applications.

31SMX(C) is with only 0.9 mm height one of the smallest crystal available on the market. The extremely flatten 32.768 kHz quartz with the dimensions of 3.2 x 1,5 mm² is available with tolerances down to +-20ppm. The operating temperature range hits a corner itself from -40 to 85°C. Standard load capacitance is as well 12.5 pF. On request we can offer those tuning fork’s as well with 7pF or 9pF load capacitance. The quartz is reflow solder able and available Taped and Reeled in quantities of 3000pcs. Available as well with 0.75 mm height, 31SMX(H).
