Hall Sensors Elements NHE SeriesDigital Hall sensors as described in the previous pages area very convenient magnetic sensor solution because they include the Hall element, amplifier and the signal evaluation circuit on one single chip. In some special cases, however, it is necessary to develop an individual signal evaluation circuit, e.g. if very low electrical power consumption is required. For these applications we offer Hall elements in the very small SOT-23 housing. In this case the vertical magnetic field component that is perpendicular to the PC board is measured. A vertical type is also available which detects horizontal magnetic field components parallel to the PC board (NHE529). Features » High sensitive type Hall element of evaporated InSb film » High sensitivity for effective performance in low magnetic fields » Appropriate input and output resistances for transistor circuits » Operating temperature: -20 °C ... +110 °C » Power dissipation: 150 mW » Max. input current: 20 mA at 25 °C Applications » Brushless motors, e. g. CD-ROM drive » Noncontacting magnetic sensors, e. g. position sensors, rotation sensors or other magnetic flux sensors
