Electromagnetic Buzzers
Electromagnetic buzzers consist of an electromagnetic transducer with a built-in oscillation circuit. They have the same specific characteristics as electromagnetic transducers but you can drive them just with DC voltage.
In general, electromagnetic buzzers are preferable, if the efforts to create an external oscillation circuit are too big, compared to a relatively small quantity of parts.
